Oh I most definitely am putting a ton of effort into it. I would switch gears completely to it but I think the point of the niche site duel is really about starting a new website, and it probably wouldn’t be fair to use a website that starts off with a #3 position. But what I will do is put at least as much effort into it as I do the niche site duel website…and I will post exactly what I end up doing with both.

Yes,I actually read that same thing that domain age is part of the ranking process. Maybe I should be buying up all the domains I have in mind and letting them age a bit before I work em out. I see a domain shopping spree in my future…not like I need anymore with my current bag of goodies. Social life huh? What’s that? j/k Good to hear from you Fede!

Well you know that the longer you own a domain the higher the chance it has to rank on the first google page. In addition, I saw both your blogs and the are looking awesome. I wish I could be at your stage but indeed having a job from 9 to 5, keeping up with your social life and learning about passive income is not an easy lifestyle. I have no more time for myself. It is become hard. Keep up the energy and spirit. Looking forward to your progress.

Hey Kesha…thanks for the comment! I’m actually going to write a more indepth piece on how I worked in backlinks but I think the methods are all very similar to the other guys. For this particular project, I found a great website that sold a PLR package really inexpensively.$25 for 100 articles related to my subject. I haven’t posted them all because I’m modifying them as I go through them. I get the feeling they weren’t written by an english speaking person because the grammar is rather odd, but I found them to still be well worth it. I haven’t done the article spinning, although I am considering it for this project and another one I just “revived” (check that post from today). But aside from the spinning I think the methods are similar: posting in article directories and spreading it around the world. I am attempting to be included in several other websites as a “resource” link for their website. It’s a slow process but I am getting through to some.

I’m working on reviving a photography related niche website and I have a few ideas for it as well, that I am trying to figure out how to apply to the BodyArtHQ website and once I do I will definitely post about them.

As far as outsourcing…as of right now, aside from PLR, I take care of everything myself. In fact I just posted a new blog post today saying I don’t know how the other guys are doing it. I’m a mom of 3, have a full time job and trying to create a passive income. It’s tough! I think maybe a time management blog post is in order for me.

Hey Misty, I came over from Pat’s niche duel hub site to see your progress as well I’m getting started with affiliate marketing and you guys have inspired me so much to really get it going so thank you too!

Question: I know above you mentioned you found some good PLR articles to start with. Do you then use similar methods as Pat and Tyrone for creating new articles and getting backlinks (article spinning, etc.)?

Also, what other methods are you planning to use for backlinking (if different from the other guys’ methods)?

The content pieces are what might stump me so I may follow your idea to get PLR articles first to start there.

Also, one last question – are you outsourcing tasks or doing them yourself?
